Our Iowa Precision Duct Processing Machine has a six spool coil line with 18, 20, 
22, 24, and 26 gauge galvanized and 24 gauge paint grip coils for quick production of duct to meet your needs. The processor straightens or sets the metal, then strengthens the duct with beading if required. It has the options to notch for two-piece or wrap duct to accommodate TDC or S-Lock & drives joints. It can install flanges and snap lock or Pittsburg seams. The next step in the duct processing is to adhere ½”- 1” insulation and weld pins at the appropriate intervals. The metal then goes through the break for bending to make the exact size programmed in to match your specifications.
For fittings and non-straight duct, our Duct Shop has Lockformer’s Vulcan plasma cutting system with two 5’ x 10’ plasma tables powered by Vulcan 6XP cutting and nesting software. Other Wysong equipment to seam, flange, crimp, shear, and break these pieces are also employed.
You can give us your specs or we can come out, measure and design the size and shape of duct that will fulfill your needs. There is no job too small, too large or too complicated for Comfort Engineers to build for you.
We can make duct from galvanized, aluminum, or stainless steel. If you need welded duct, we have a Job Shop to produce that too.
